Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take for my drums to be built?
Depending on the order-situation and the design/configuration, around 6 months, but we always try to get things through as fast as possible. Contact us if you have a certain deadline. Expansions of the deadline can occur if certain components are not available or if orders are very labour intensive.

What kind of shells do you use?
Our basic configuration comes with our very own LB MBM Shells. For an extra charge you can also get different types of shells made from different types of material. Check out our SHELLS page to learn more about our shell options!

Can I visit your shop and test your drums?

We allow people with an intent of ordering drums to visit our shop. If you would like to do so, please get in touch with us in order to arrange an appointment. Unfortunately we are not equipped with as many test drums as we'd like to, so testing is limited to the drums we have at the shop.

Can i see samples of the materials?
Depending on what material we are talking about we can surely send you detailed pictures or even samples of materials. We always try to make sure you know exactly what you'll get.

How can I pay?
We prefer bank wire transfer for payments. Payments of smaller ammounts can be submitted through paypal aswell. We need 50% of the drums total to start the build, the rest has to be paid before shipping.

Can you suggest a design for me?
Sure! But we'll need some facts about your taste like colors, patterns etc. so we know in which direction your design should go. We also work with several graphic designers who can create specific artwork just for you.

Can I get endorsed by LB Drums?
We offer endorsements to certain bands. If you are interested in a partnership, please check our ARTISTS page.

Can I bring you my drums for a refinish?
No, unfortunately not. We only label something with LB when we built it ourself and are convinced of its quality standards.

Can I order parts or shells for my own project from you?
Our services are confined to the actual build of drums. We do not supply any components.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do! Get in touch with us to get a shipping quote to your location. We ship FOR FREE to all european destinations.

Is your powder coating durable enough for rim-shots and overall touring usage?
Yes! Our powder coating is engineered to withstand the usual stage/transport handling without problem. Impropper handling although may damage it.

Do you offer cymbals and/or stands along with your drums.
No, unfortunately not. We are a workshop specialized on building shell sets only.

What does "LB" in LB Drums stand for?
